Mobile recovery and
reclamation
in container format.

Blasting, extraction and reclamation in one unit. The system arrives on site in container format and can be set down and commissioned by one person, without a crane. After that, no blast media has to be disposed of.

The system
MAL Kombi Rev I

Recovery and reclamation
in one unit.

  1. MAL Kombi Rev I, set up: awning extended, support legs deployed, ladder at the blast-pot access

    On site

    Mobile and flexible

It is set up close to where the work is done, the blast pots are placed underneath, power and compressed air are connected — and work can begin. A powerful Roots blower draws the used blast media from the enclosure back to the reclamation unit.

  2. Loop

    Reclaiming in the same operation

The separator divides blast media from dust and broken grain while extraction is running. It takes no second station and no downtime to reclaim the grain for reuse — that is the difference between a vacuum and a combined unit.

Technical data
Full specification

The one figure
that tips the balance.

1kg/m²

Net consumption of reusable blast media. Without reclamation it is 40 to 60 kg/m².

That is why the system pays for itself — every tonne of single-use blast media you save is a tonne you do not have to buy, transport or dispose of.

Blast pots
3 to 6 supplied at once
Vacuum unit drive rating
30 to 110 kW
Silo capacity
up to 8 m³ around 32 t of steel grit, 17.6 t of garnet or 16 t of corundum
Unladen weight
9,000 to 15,000 kg

The figures apply to the MAL Kombi Rev I series, depending on size. Silo capacities are guide values and depend on the bulk density of the blast media. We will give you the test conditions on request. Request sizing for your next project

Assemblies
What is inside the container

Four groups,
one loop.

  • Frame

Solid structural steel frame on height-adjustable, extendable support legs for easy transport. Folding awnings protect the working area in any weather.

  • Blast media vacuums

A powerful Roots blower makes it possible to recover blast media over long distances.

  • Blast media cleaner

Four cleaning stages separate the good grain from dust, grains that can no longer be accelerated, dirt and blasted-off material. The separated particles are discharged dust-free through an endless-bag system into big bags.

  • Filter

The system's exhaust air is cleaned in two filter stages (class M and H). The air, now free of dust and hazardous substances, is then released back into the environment.
