Where our systems
are at work.

The component determines the system — not the other way round. A bridge makes different demands from a monopile or a casting.

Applications
Component and process

Eight typical tasks.

Corrosion protection

Coating adhesion depends on the roughness profile. We supply the system that produces the required preparation grade and roughness repeatably.

Bridge refurbishment

Work inside an enclosure, collect the blast media, carry the dust away — mobile, and without anything falling into the river or the traffic below.

Hydraulic steel structures

Sheet pile walls, lock gates, weir installations. Components that stand permanently in water and whose coating has to last accordingly.

Shipbuilding & shipyards

Large areas under time pressure. Recovery and reclamation cut the blast media requirement noticeably here, because the quantities are large.

Monopiles

Foundation tubes for offshore wind farms. Long tubes, high unit numbers, consistent surface quality over the full length.

Concrete repair

Remove the coating, expose the reinforcement, without weakening the load-bearing section — and the dust has to go.

Vessel construction & refurbishment

Inside as well as out. In closed vessels it is the extraction that decides whether work is permitted at all.

Structural steelwork

Sections, gusset plates, welded structures. Descaling and derusting before coating.

Not listed here, but just as much in use — pipeline refurbishment, power plant refurbishment, foundries, industrial cleaning, vehicle and vessel construction, and the defence industry.
